June 1965, Republic of South Vietnam, mountain Outpost, Lance Corporal Burt Knight Killed in Action June 22 1965,in Qunang Nam Province....We were members of the 9th Marine Expeditionary Force...Bert was my friend and comrad in arms...he was 20 his next birthday would have been July 1st....as you are looking at this picture Bert is on your... right ...I am the other Marine...I was 19....Siemper Fi ...Always Faithful
